Playground Renovations for Atkinson & Optimist Park

As part of our capital asset management plan, it’s time to renew the playgrounds at Optimist Park and Atkinson Park.

Why we are renovating?
Playgrounds typically have a lifecycle of about 20 to 25 years. While playgrounds are inspected routinely for safety, every playground in Aurora is a part of the Town’s asset management cycle. This year, we’re replacing the playgrounds at Atkinson Park and Optimist Park, in alignment with our 10-year capital plan...AND we want your feedback!
