Ridge Road Temporary Closure - October 5th
Beginning Monday, October 5, 2026, Ridge Road will be temporarily closed at Yonge Street for approximately one month while construction work takes places. During the closure, drivers will be unable to enter or exit Ridge Road at Yonge Street. Please use Glensteeple Trail to travel between Ridge Road and Yonge Street, as shown in the attached photo.
A temporary bus stop will be available at the northwest corner of Yonge Street and Glensteeple Trail. The bus stop near Ridge Road will also remain available when construction activities permit, but may be temporarily unavailable at times depending on work. Transit riders can use the temporary stop at Glensteeple Trail during those periods.
Please follow posted signs and use caution when travelling through the area. Thank you for your patience as work continues on the Yonge Street Multi-Use Path.
