Help Shape the Future of Walking in Aurora!

We’re working to make Aurora safer, more accessible, and easier to navigate on foot.

The Town of Aurora is developing a comprehensive Pedestrian Facility Plan to improve walkability and enhance pedestrian safety across the community. The plan will identify current and future pedestrian needs and create a roadmap for improvements that support growth, accessibility, and active transportation.

Key elements of the plan include:
• Prioritizing sidewalk gaps identified in the 2024 Active Transportation Master Plan
• Identifying and prioritizing locations for new pedestrian crossovers
• Developing a School Crossing Guard Program to help students travel safely to and from school

Your feedback will help shape a more connected, walkable, and pedestrian-friendly Aurora for years to come.
