Community stories of inspiration during the COVID-19 pandemic

The Town of Aurora entered Stage Two of the province’s re-opening framework on Friday, June 19. This is a huge step forward and we would not be where we are today without the incredible initiatives by community members and local businesses to support one another during this time. The support needs to continue as our Town takes a gradual approach to reopening to help ensure everyone stays safe. This may mean that acts of kindness over the last three months continue or new acts of kindness take place as the community moves

This may mean that acts of kindness over the last three months continue or new acts of kindness take place as the community moves to a different stage in the fight against COVID 19.

Use this Our COVID-19 Stories page to share your stories and let the Town and community know how residents and business are coming together to support one another. Have an idea for what you and others in the community can do to continue to show support as we move forward together? Be sure to share it!

THANK YOU AURORA FOR INSPIRING AND SUPPORTING!

SHARE YOUR STORY

Share your story about how Aurora has stepped up to help you through the last three months of the pandemic.  Did your neighbor buy and deliver groceries every week or did someone you know organize a drive for the food pantry? #AuroraSteppedUp

Maybe you know a local business that has given back and had a positive impact on the community during these difficult times? Did the business deliver meals to front line health care workers or take a portion of sales to support those in need during this difficult time? #AuroraBusinessesLead
