The Town of Aurora and the Town’s Accessibility Advisory Committee is seeking public input from our residents, employees, visitors and local businesses on how we can improve accessibility in Aurora. Your valuable input will help with identifying, removing, and preventing barriers for residents, employees and visitors at the Town of Aurora and help shape Aurora’s 2022 - 2026 Multi-Year Accessibility Plan.

Under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (A.O.D.A) and the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (I.A.S.R), standards were developed in five areas. We are asking input on each of the standards and what you would like

Share your thoughts on the Accessibility in Aurora by taking our online survey, sharing a comment and/or asking a question below. The survey will close on Friday, December 3, 2021.

The draft Town of Aurora Multi-Year Accessibility Plan 2022-2026 is a road map that describes how we will continue to prevent and remove accessibility barriers to Town services and in our facilities. Review the plan and let us know how we can do more to remove accessibility barriers in Aurora.

    Join us on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 for a virtual presentation and speak live with the Town of Aurora's Accessibility Advisor

    Residents, employees, visitors and local businesses will have the opportunity to to meet virtually with the Town of Aurora's Accessibility Advisor, view a presentation on what has been accomplished by the 2018-2022 Accessibility Advisory Committee and provide feedback and share your vision for the 2022-2024 multi-year plan.


    When: Wednesday, November 24, 2021 - 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
    How: Email your interest to attend the Virtual Zoom meeting to MZawada@aurora.ca.
