The Town of Aurora is launching a Corporate Waste Audit and Reduction Plan to better understand how waste is generated across Town-owned spaces—and how we can reduce it. With solid waste contributing 13% of the Town’s carbon emissions, this project is a key step toward our goal of net-zero emissions by 2050.
Through waste audits at facilities, parks, and public bins, we’ll gather data to build a long-term strategy that cuts waste, lowers contamination, and improves landfill diversion. Your input will help guide this important work.
Let’s build a cleaner, more sustainable Aurora—together.
