Beginning the week of April 12, the contractor will begin to create structural foundations (caissons) for the addition to 22 Church St. Large drilling equipment will be moved on site. Due to the nature of this work, there is a potential for dust and construction-related noise from equipment and trucks. Daily construction will generally occur Monday to Friday, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. The public is encouraged to use caution in this area. Please cross at designated crosswalks, follow posted signs, and be alert when walking near the construction zone.

Months into the construction of the Town’s newest community facility in the heart of the downtown, Chandos Construction has undertaken extensive demolition and excavation of the Library Square site, including the installation of construction fencing around the perimeter of the property.

Phase 1 of the fencing is inspired by the Town of Aurora community, emphasizing the people who will use the space and who give Aurora its liveliness, purpose, and vitality.
