    Downsized Fire Response Trucks UseI

I have been a lifelong keener and enthusiast of fire response vehicles. CYFS would be wise to consider supplanting their current First Response fleet with some lighter, narrowed and shorter response trucks. Vancouver FD is a Canadian example of this. They cross-man into fire medic pick-ups for majority medical aid and vehicle crash calls. The large rigs only roll on appropriate call-outs. That save immensely on cost to replace or rebuild 35tonne rescue pumps. Worn prematurely in majority use to small turn-out responses. Other USA Dept examples exist. NOT less staff but more appropriate first response vehicle use.
