The Town’s Stream Management Master Plan has pinpointed a critical area along Delayne Drive that faces potential flooding during significant rainfall events.
We are working with consultants at Matrix Solutions to safeguard our properties and infrastructure in this area. The proposed solution involves a comprehensive overhaul of the watercourse—regrading, realigning, and widening it from north of Delayne Drive, downstream of Orchard Heights Boulevard, to upstream of Aurora Heights Drive. This initiative promises to dramatically reduce flood risks and protect our vibrant neighborhood.
Other project goals:
Protect Town infrastructure and streambanks from stream erosion
