Your local fire department – Central York Fire Services (CYFS), is seeking your feedback to help guide and improve its service to you.
For the past 20 years, CYFS has been serving Aurora and Newmarket and is looking forward to the continued protection of the communities it serves over the next ten years. CYFS is developing a Fire Master Plan (FMP) and Community Risk Assessment which your feedback will help shape!

Ontario Regulation 378/18: Community Risk Assessments came into effect on July 1, 2019. This new legislation requires CYFS to conduct a Community Risk Assessment for both towns it serves – Newmarket and Aurora by July 1, 2024.
