The Treasurer will kick off the Budget Committee’s review of the proposed 2023 budget, as well as introduce outlooks for 2024 to 2026 and the 10-year capital plan. Budget material will be distributed to Council members for their review at this meeting.

6 to 10 pm, Virtual Meeting

The Treasurer will kick off the Budget Committee’s review of the proposed 2023 operating budget. The Committee will receive an introduction to both the budget process and the proposed 2023 operating and capital budgets; as well as the operating budget outlooks for 2024 to 2026. The review will include the corporate-wide impacts along with a review of the budget changes from 2022 to 2023 by department.

9 am to 4 pm, Virtual Meeting

The Treasurer will kick off the Budget Committee’s review of the Town’s proposed 2023 capital budget and 10-year plan. The Budget Committee will receive an introduction to the capital budget process and start its detailed review of the proposed budgets for repair & replacement, growth & new and studies & other capital projects.

6 to 10:30 pm, Virtual Meeting

The Budget Committee will continue its review of the proposed 2023 operating budget. Central York Fire Services, Aurora Public Library, Aurora Cultural Centre Board, Aurora Historical Society Board, Aurora Sports Hall of Fame and the Aurora Business Improvement Area (BIA) will present their funding requirements for 2023, their forecasted needs for 2024 to 2026 and provide update presentations to the Committee. Any outstanding capital reviews will continue.
